Project 365: Beer Brittle

The only section of the LA Times I look forward to is Thursday’s “Food Section”.  This week it focused on the beauty of microbrews and utilizing beer in cooking.  I was settling into disappointment after skimming the feature article on the art of microbrew labels, until I turned two pages and came across this recipe for Beer Brittle.  Sweet and savory crunch (and not in the bowl of manhandled, palm sweat-covered bar peanuts form) meets beer has the potential to be amazing.  I hope to find some time in the not too distant future to run to the market to buy the requite beer.  I will let you know how it turns out!
